Meet Aubrey:
Founder, Therapist, and Mother
Hey, I’m Aubrey Bodt — licensed art therapist, counselor, and yes, I’m a mom too. I know what it feels like when motherhood hits hard. I became a first-time mom during the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that sense of overwhelm? Yeah, I’ve been there. The isolation, anxiety, and the pressure to “have it all together” almost swallowed me whole.
That’s why I founded TendWell Therapy — because I believe mothers deserve specialized care that gets it. I’ve lived through postpartum anxiety and loss in addition to my own childhood trauma, depression, and anxiety, and it fueled my passion for creating a space where mothers can be themselves — messy, real, and unapologetically imperfect.
With over a decade of experience in art therapy and counseling, I’ve helped women just like you work through anxiety, depression, trauma, body image issues and eating disorders, feelings of shame and guilt, and identity loss. My approach blends creativity with therapy to help you shed what’s holding you back and rediscover the parts of yourself that are ready to thrive.
